Reety at last, I got a good quiet time to say my thanks to all Firstly a sorry from me for the delay.. But straight after JAE I went on a weeks holiday and by the time I was back online (start of last week), I was 2 weeks behind with everything in here and at work and had to play catch up. My thanks will be both in a personal way and in an official club way (just to confuse all of you LOL!). The planning for JAE (in the back of house here at NPOC) starts many months before we even get there, so my 1st thanks goes out to all the staff team here and my wife Caroline "Biojoba" (who has to put up with my silly JAE ideas for weeks on end). As you know I buy all the JAE catering in advance (apart from the meat etc) from the catering fund you all pay into and the front room of my house gets turned into a mini Asda for the month before JAE, so thanks to Cazza again for putting up with this. Next up is gonna be Cherry Ade for his help here.. Despite the fact he lives a few miles from JAE, he drove the Tranny all the way down to my house on the South Coast the day before, so we could load up the van to take the JAE club stuff and catering to JAE... Cheers Ade!! The local guys to me, who turned up early on Thursday morning at my house and helped load the van and then enjoyed the convoy up together. All of the Thursday crew (the Elites) who helped set up the stand, we hope you enjoyed the free party the club owners threw for you, as a thank you for your financial support and all the hard work you peeps put in with the stand set up. Moving on... A mahoooosive shout out to all and any who helped with official club stuff at JAE. Whenever we needed help with moving the catering and setting up, it was the same people who stepped up to the plate - Thank you! The guys that helped us with the cooking (special mention to Andy "Gizz" as always here). All the guys that took the time to make sure the stand was clean and tidy each morning and for the times you picked up and lobbed stuff in the bin during the day. Personal thanks to Jon "Elvis" Riggsy from me, he didn't just repeatedly help out with anything me and Cazza needed doing in a club capacity but he also helped me put up my tent and put it away LOL - PLUS he spent some time fixing a problem with my Nordic... With parts supplied for free by Ant, so a big thumbs to Ant. In fact worth mentioning all the people who helped other members over JAE.. It was outstanding!! Everywhere I looked there were members helping other members.. It was fantastic and it just backs up why we are so well known for our friendly existence online and offline. TO ALL THE MEMBERS WHO REPRESENTED THE CLUB... In the sporting events / it's a knockout events / official show and shine... THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!! It made no difference to me if we won or lost but it meant the world that you wanted to represent the NPOC and that's a win all by itself regardlessly! When we turned out at the official presentation awards on the Sat night at the hall.. We filled the place, when we stormed the stage, people took notice LOL! We cheered every club and person when they won an award, people took notice... When we won an award, people covered their ears!! It's been a dream since I've been involved in running NPOC that we'd become a name / club that people will talk about and for all the right reasons too.. This year, that dream was realised.. A simple short story from me which has stayed in my mind: On Saturday I was at the front of the stand speaking to a guy from another club (he was a Honda owner).. His moby rang and it was one of his mates.. I heard him say "I'm over with the NPOC".. That was all, 5 mins later his mate arrived and we said goodbye and off they went.. SO why has that stuck? Well he didn't need to say I'm over at the Nissan Primera stand or owt like that, he said "NPOC" and his mate knew who and where we were.. We got noticed and the name NPOC got associated.. Small thing but one that stuck I guess. Sunday and we have one of the UK's biggest Jap tuning companies on our stand.. Sumo Power! They noticed a little matter of the biggest club at JAE being the NPOC!! Once they'd realised that (hello LOL!), they decided it was about time they added some products to their range. So if Sumo Power have now noticed, we're going in the right direction. Our members are noticed by the uniformity of our club gear and our cars are noticed now as well... NPOC has become a name people now know and that's all down to you people. The cars were truly exceptional, we had many many visitors on the stand looking around. Your friendliness to all and any was par for the course and as legendary as the name you have made for the club. More club records broken again.. This was our biggest show out to date - So well done. People and financial anuslists tell us we're all eating a cereal called the credit crunch or summing, well they just sucked some NPOC dick.. Cos no matter how skint we all are, or how far away from JAE we all live.. We rolled into JAE and kicked ass.. So seriously, BIG thanks from me for turning out for the club. The photos (and there's a lot in this thread), capture the event well and capture the spirit of NPOC at it's best.. Thanks to all of you who took the time to take them and then put them in this thread, we will never forget this JAE, as our archives section will be just 1 click away at anytime. We still have some photos to go as well (I'll be posting MysticMike's piccies soon... He has 100 or so!). Thank you to everyone of you (including the NCN) who supported us, in supporting Ant's charity fund raiser to help remember his father. Seriously that was massive generosity! Thank you to the NCN for coming to join us again this year and a bigger thank you to all our members here at NPOC for making them feel so welcome as always. I personally couldn't picture a JAE without the NCN enjoying a beer and a laugh with us, so long may that continue!! To everyone who brought a firelog for our firelog appeal (or anyone who broke up their shed to burn too LOL).. You kept the club warm at night. I really could continue till sun up at this rate, so I'm gonna conclude by saying: On Saturday night (late on), I retired to the shadows on the stand, sat on my chair, lit up a bine and drank from a cold can.. I wasn't hiding, I was watching. Only after surveying you lot laughing / joking / drinking and smiling, could I take a long draw on my smoke, a big swig of ale and nod.. NPOC is the bollocks, we really are!! NPOC is more than just a bunch of petrol heads, we are a family and we welcome all into the family. We're more than just a bunch of net heads who hang out in cyberspace too and we never discriminate against others. We offer help to anyone who needs it in here, regardless of who pays and who doesn't. We offer that same help at club meets and to members we meet on the street! We are a success and one of the big jap club players in the UK / world! That success is entirely down to all you guys and girls who keep putting into the club.. You have made us who we are today and you'll make us bigger and better for tomorrow. You made NPOC, you are NPOC! I'm proud as fook to be a part. Many many thanks from me. Take care,Shaun

Wat een verspilling, hij gaat niet uit :Dje kon ook gewoon checken of er een schakelaartje zat ergens, zoals bij je deuren, zit dat er niet, gaat ie ook niet uit :P
